Shelly Jyoti

Shelly Jyoti is a visual artist, fashion designer, poet and an independent curator whose work references in the cultural context of Indian history. Her faith in the Gadhinian ideology is reflected in through the choice of materials and her process of working. She draws from the historical iconographic elements, various native styles, also collaborates with local craftsmen, and yet aims at addressing contemporary socio-political inquiries. Shelly is a guest faculty at various art schools in India. She also conducts workshops at global venues. 📷
