Shanthi Sekaran

Shanthi Sekaran is an educator and writer based in the Bay Area. Her novel, Lucky Boy, was named an IndieNext Great Read, and an NPR Best Book of 2017. It was chosen by San Francisco Public Library as its One City One Book feature. Her other works include, The Prayer room, and Writing Dialogue. The Indian-American writer, has addressed issues related to migration, in a sensitive and intense manner. Shekaran teaches at California College of Arts and St. Mary's College of California.
