Deepti Naval

Deepti Naval is a film actor, director, writer, painter and photographer. An American with an Indian origin, Naval since her debut in the 1980’s in the Indian film industry, has a long, rich and a lustrous career. Her debut in Ek Baar Phir, won her the Best Actor award. She has been acclaimed internationally as an actor writer and a director. An accomplished artist, Naval held the first art exhibition of her paintings titled, Reflections, in 1994, in the Sir Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai; and has exhibited internationally. Naval has also displayed her photographic works at various venues. Her paintings and photographs like her works associated with the films shares a strong sense of sensitivity and empathy. 📷
